Some of the guitars i sell usually the ones i don't like the colour but most i keep.

hey guys i been using some new gear to polish my guitars i thought id give you guys a heads up i got them out of china on ebay you get 19 pads and the disc only cost me $11 delivered, i have been using them on a cordless drill they do a brilliant job and make polishing them pretty easy i used them with Meguiar's rubbing compound only down side is they take 4 weeks to show up, if you guys are like me larger polishers can pull the body out of your hands and bugger up a good paint job any way here some pic's cant go wrong for the money

latest update i spent the day polishing so far reasonably happy with them 1st is the strat after trying to assemble it i found the truss rod is not working, looks like ill haft to get a new neck for it as it just wont take the bow out of the neck so that's been put on hold till i get a new one. Paint came out ok paint is blue pearl and will be using a blue pearl pick guard, the tele is polished and have started to put it together but not sure about pick guard as came with a black one maybe a pearl red to match the candy apple red strat, The Ibanez i decided to redo it as i didn't like it black not really a black fan its all finished and ready to play as ill be keeping it for myself

Tele looks really nice. I'm not usually a fan of metallics on guitars, but that does look great.
Has the truss rod snapped on the Strat neck, or has it reached the limit of its travel? I've got a Tele where the truss rod screw has run out of adjustment and it really needs about another 1/4 turn to get the action right. StewMac sell some special die cutters to extend the threads on heel-adjusting truss rods, but it's quite expensive if you've only got one neck to do.
I've also got a nice mandolin that the truss rod has snapped on. It's still very playable, but it would be nice if I could flatten the neck a bit more. As the mandolin has a flat top, I can't lower the bridge any more without loosing almost all the downward force.
