Car engine bay is a 2001 Toyota Aristo JZS161. It's the same shape (almost the same car) as The Australian delivered Lexus GS300. I lived in Japan from 2011 to 2013. I love my Japanese performance cars and this car was the only car I could afford at the time that was worth to take back with me. The Lexus has the non-turbo version of the 2JZ in-line six. In Japan, the Aristo has the option of the twin turbo version. This shape went right up to 2005 when Toyota then started labelling their domestic Models Lexus instead of Toyota. Up until then, Toyota Japan only exported vehicles with the Lexus badge.
The car is pretty cool as there are only a handful of them in Australia as they can only be privately imported. ie you have to live in Japan and own and drive the car in Japan for at least 12 months to be eligble to take it to Australia. Mine has only been lightly modified and is capable of 0-100 in around 6secs which is pretty good for a 16 year old car. I have never been pulled over since owning it and only people "in the know" take much notice of it. It's a sleeper and a reliable daily driver. It is a bit thirsty on fuel.
Think of the car as a luxury Ford XR6 Turbo.

Back to guitars and I am thinking of the gold top with white binding and black or dark back and sides like the real one. However, red or blue top is also an option. I am waiting for some pay to come in and I am pretty sure I'll buy it. I did suggest a Wolfgang on the model suggestion thread a little while ago so I think I have to do it. LOL
I am coming to the pointy end of the final coats on the tele, so I am looking for my second build.

    Chris

Oh yes, the golden stain. I have now looked at other colours too, including a lot of bursts!
Many, many stain options for this kit.
Could even do a natural top which would probably be quite easy using my TO spray.

    Thanks Adam for this kit!

I've now got better wheels on her. This pic was taken in Japan.
