Tend to like the more Ruby than Burgundy colour you have got there already. Maybe 1 or 2 more stain coats may add some depth but you also need to be mindful of what will be used for the top coat. If using Tru Oil it will add a slight light amber hue and suggest some sample test patches on a scrap bit of wood before you lock in a darker colour, just to be sure as when things get too dark it is a lot harder to lighten up.
