Better watch the volume when doing some slappin otherwise they may require a Tsunami alert for Rottie perhaps?

I, as a Dutchman, already figured out what you guys mean by a 'krissy pressie' and what city 'Brissie' is. But what/where/who is Rottie

    AAHH, "Rottie" is Rottnest Island.
Rottnest Island was discovered in 1696 by Willem de Vlamingh, a Dutch explorer, who named the island Rats' Nest due to the many large rats that he found on the island.
I believe that those Rats turned out to be Quokas, Marsupials found only on the Island.....
Well that's the story us Easterners get.....

Looking great Woks. I assume you acquired the Realpart's machine heads, what do you think of them?

    cheers guys

@ Ponch, yes they are the realparts tuners that you ordered. They look and feel good. There's no slack in the gear mechanism so think they will keep good tune.
My neck needed a fair fret level so warning if you haven't done yours yet Ponch it may also need some work

Good stuff Woks, the tuners do feel nice and solid! I completed the fret work during recent high humidity days and yes, they were rather uneven to say the least.... all sorted now. The humidity dropped to 60% yesterday - good enough for me to get the primer on. No dramas, piccies later. I will wait for a lower humidity day for the actual paint.
