new axe - Gibson SG, lefty!!

Well, new for me , a 2004 Gibson SG Special.
It's a bit road worn and used - but now I don't have to worry about scratching it...
Non original tuners - now has Grover lockers - i think they'll stay
Coffin case - don't really like them, but the quality is really good
Pups were changed two owners ago - should be 490R and 490T - lets see what they turned out to be...

Oh, and super special thanks to cool forum member Pablopepper for helping identify this as the real deal

It was strung as a righty, but still has the original lefty corian nut..

    Now for pics

great score Stan, where did you find that for sale ?

can't wait to hear the pups cranking and what resistance they are

@ Zandit agreed 100%, Dedman would love to put his GD-1 in the coffin case !

Haha i should have suspected the Dedman - the perfect candidate, I'll send you a PM mate...

I sourced it from an online sales forum linked to bookface. Fortunately located between work and home.
Haven't measured the pups yet, but whatever the stock readings are they will be about that, I suspect...

well done Stan you scored well ! I also noticed you are only 264 post from being a GAStronomist !

I think if Dedman got that coffin case you wouldn't wipe the smile off his face for months !
