these pots have really fat bottoms. so fat that I chose to put every wire on them as a separate point...
super tall poles that I will have to get the grinder on to.

If you are worried about the pot lugs touching the shielding, you could stick a piece of electrical insulating tape under the lugs onto the shielding.
