Being among such a dedicated group of fine builders, and having taken the easy way out has left me feeling Dirty......

I reckon if I do a 4 String it will be a MM. Might try it in my fretless if no takers...
Why not a MM with a J/B bridge pickup? Warwick were/are forever mixing and matching different pickup configurations on their basses.
Or even use it in the neck position as it will be matched against a more powerful humbucker, so the extra windings will help there.

Can you see this on a nice Pitbull Sunburst JB5??? I know I can....
Bit too much detail for my personal tastes but can see it working. I'd probably go with an all black one to tie in with the black scratch plate and grab a bag of black screws too. Chrome bridge & tuners would remain as they are OK and not sure if there are any decent black ones on the market.

Going to get a dark tortoise shell pickguard and I'm conducting an experiment that might effect the bridge...... If it comes off it will be quite different. I hope to get a black bridge and scuff off some of the black, then I hope to do a bit of home electroplating with copper......
If that comes off I will plate some black machine heads too..
