Hi Steve, I was correct with my kit guess on your welcome thread.
The neck is supposed to have about 3-4 degree angle so the neck tilts toward the back of the guitar to compensate the high tune-o-matic bridge height.
What you can do is clamp the neck flush in the pocket and get a long ruler to see how the string action will be between the nut and bridge saddles. Place the bridge on a couple of washers to mimmic the approximate height of the bridge.
