    I would suggest you also consider fitting a pre-amp, Pedro. The kit comes with five holes for potentiometers, but only four of them are really usable if you keep it passive. I know the kit description says 2 volume, 3 tone controls, but the site wiring diagram shows 2 tone controls and three volume controls - one master and one for each pickup.

    You could enlarge one hole and fit a pickup selector switch in it instead - which could work well if you keep it passive. But for that style of bass, I think it would really benefit from being active, with a volume control per pickup, plus active bass, middle and treble controls.

    What arrangement did you use, Woks?

    I thought about this option. I'll try with the components that the kit has and if I don't like how it sounds I'll change it active.
