Phroz, that candy looks awesome!!
What method did you use to apply the paint? I'm doubting that is from a rattle can?

The photos link to his photobucket account and if you scroll through the photos there's a picture of a couple of spray guns (normal and mini sized) and an air compressor, so Phroz is probably using nitro.
Superb paint finish and interesting projects too!
P.S. Good to see another Wilfrid Brambell fan.
Phroz, if you feel like sharing your paid secrets, feel free. Im listening.

here headstock is done used wilkinson machine heads
and here its polished and being assembled
As for how I do them I use a little cheap auto parts compressor I use it because of noise I use same touch up guns 1 suction and 1 gravity Simon gets the lucky dip lol I have $$$$ guns but there not needed for doing guitars and compressor is just way to loud. As for secrets there’s really none its just work on the prep I usually tell who and what I do you can use Nitro, Acrylic and 2k Nitro and acrylic are pretty much the same how to use them. I guess when you spray for so many years its just natural.
heres my little compressor cost me $90 on special
and gun i use on the guitars its the little one but use a 1mm needle and i use 1 of there gravity gun which is $25 i use them as for the fad they need which the little compressor can handle and i have a airbrush i use for bursts
