    Glossy finish

I know if I searched I would probably find this but being at work I need to be quick....

I have dingotone stains and finish for my build... but will that give me a nice glossy finish or will I need something else?

    Cheers all!

    Paul.

I guess what I am asking is does the finish coat give it a gloss?

Slayer the Dingotone final coat I would call a semi gloss. I think if you are patient you will get a fairly glossy finish but will need several thin coats so you can sand it back with a high grit paper.
    Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

Let the final coats fully cure then cut and polish as you would any other finish.
I have had another session on the build that Weirdy posted and it is glossy as...
Will try and remember to take a pic tomorrow.

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

Thanks all, and I have now seen the full thread on this topic over in the dingotone section
