    Each saddle has a hole in the rear of the saddle to allow the string through from the bridge so i don't think it would be that hard.

    It doesn't bother me as it was always a string through for me, none came with the kit, but I bought my ferrules for under $10.

    Fair enough. I'd always go string-through, like you. I've only ever owned one top-loading electric - a cheap Squier Affinity Tele that was a real PITA to re-string.
