It will be interesting to see how the finish holds up on the fret board under playing conditions. Not sure how many coats are on traditional maple boards yet they seem to take lots of punishment before looking aged or relic.

Yes im interested too although ive only put 2 thin coats on and wipe on poly is poly thinned with about 30% mineral spirits so the film its getting is very thin.Originally Posted by wazkelly
