I couldn't get to grips with mine.

It's a great concept but I need to tweak it at the design level. (That means... rebuild it.). I've got really knobby joints on my finger, so the 'ring' needs to be opened up to slip over the joint. This means it flops about too much for accurate playing.

So, first re-design point is to make the 'ring' 2 or 3 times wider.

Secondly, the angle of the bent bit, that goes between the fingers to stabilise it, doesn't fit my weird hand so... re-design.

Lastly, the 'tab' that you put your finger on to apply downward pressure is (again, due to my weird hands) too long and too high.

For the moment, I've gone back to my trusty steel slide on my pinky. But I WILL revisit the Jetslide as soon as I get a round tuit.

Try splitting the Ring, to give some lee way- adjustment.
10sec with a Dremel cutting disc would do the trick.

It seems one of those tools that you really need to WANT to use in you LIVE performance, hence practice needed.
Strongly depends on the guitar situation you are in....separate open tuned guitars available.... guess that's why we are here building such instruments
