While I am waiting for the Dingotone to cure I have resurrected a project started about 2 years ago. The Uke is a tenor size but I made it about 20mm deeper sort of jumbo you might say. I decided to make a fender style neck just to be different and the fretboard is some strange timber I found in a packing case - very hard with mottled grain texture. The body is Queensland maple sourced from Scott Wise, a luthier from Margaret River.Anyone thinking of making an acoustic guitar the Uke is a good way to start.
