Doc no idea how the finish will look with a brush, would have been worth waiting for the spray can, you must have a few green sheds in Darwin you can check for stock ?
Also the mineral turps has some nasty chemicals in it, best get gum turpentine is much safer to use

They reckon it's going to be a week or so before they get some more cans of the Super Gold in and I'm on a bit of a deadline with the Gold Strat build cause I was hoping to get it finished in time for a gig in November that I'm going to be playing with a mate of mine, as far as I know the Big Green Shed on Bagot Road is the only one in Darwin, I'll give the Gold Paint I bought a go and if there's some issues with it I'll stop using it and sand the coat off when it's dry, I just got an email from Realtone Music saying that the stuff I ordered has been despatched and I should receive it in the post within a couple of business days, so hopefully the stuff will be delivered by the end of this week or so.
