    For a newbie and anyone nervous about potential for electric shocks the 2 watt version would be the way to go and at $195 plus postage seems a fair price. Still needs to be housed in something IMO and when you add the speaker cab that needs to be built you end up at about the same price point as many completed combos on the market loaded with more features too.

    Tempted but unlikely to take it on as I am happy with my current amps.
