    looking great Pabs, glad you went the black pickguard. Does it still have plastic on it ?

    Yeah mate. Traditional very last step is pulling off the protective plastic on the pickguard. Lol.

    Looking great Pabs. I think the high mass bridge adds to the string height. I've since tweaked by JBA-4 (with same high mass bridge). I've removed the neck shim and took a bit off the bottom of each bridge saddle to bring down the action (same as Flender have done on the modern USA Jazz high mass bridge)

    Finally got the wiring done yesterday. A bit of a rat's nest, but heat shrink made it much more manageable.


    And it's making noise! Phew.

    Getting there. All it needs now is a set up and the nut finalised.

    looks great Pabs, don't forget to peel of the protective layer on the pickguard !
    Can't see a circuit board for the active system, is it near the battery ?

    ah ok cool Pabs, so the circuit board is in the battery box you circled red ?
    what are you initial thoughts of the sound so far ?
