good stuff Doc, more sanding ! It is important you get the bulk of the Dingtone sanded off as I'm not sure if it will react with the primer. Best do a small test in an area under the pickguard to see if the primer takes ok

I was actually thinking about that when I started sanding the body a few days ago, good job, will do that test before I do anything else to the body, cheers.
This week's going to be pretty full-on for me, cause I'm doing some servicing work on a mate's Peavey Triumph amp, the Channel Footswitching isn't working like it's supposed to so I'm going to try and fix it for him.
I've also got my Pedalboard project to work on too, will document it in a thread in the non-PBG gear section.
