Yeah our Era.....I remember buying Guitar Player mag in the 80's ogling Steve Vai rig set up.....Remember getting them to learn Tab!!!... Know its Guitar Pro 5 search the net and there it is....They also had the flabby plastic record inside that worked on a turn table....

I used to buy the Guitar Player Magazine too, mostly cause there was always an article that caught my eye, I would buy the magazine then ride on my bike to the Leisure Centre where I would buy a couple of icecreams from the kiosk, then I'd sit down in the shade and relax by the big swimming pool, great times to be had back in the 80's.

I was probably in my early to mid 20's back then.

Seen that film SOOOO!!! Many times my fav...Ry Cooder feelin Bad blues... My go to slide tune..Drop D....Amazing demonstration of under playing Notes... BTW Buying Icecreams going to the Lesiure Centre...Summer....Forgive me for being bold..but I am sure Guitars were not the only thing you were looking at..

Granted, there were some pretty questionable music that was churned-out in the 80's by the then music-industry, but there were some really cool stuff too, but it got overshadowed by the bad stuff.



Personally, I mostly remember all the good stuff from the 80's.
