    Thanks for the explanation FW, most appreciated. Guess I've led a sheltered life. When I think Nylon String guitars, I think beginners guitars.

    Not so far from the truth Z, when i play classical or gypsy styles on a Nylon string it sounds very much like a beginner.

    Fican guitars are just up the road from me, not dropped in on them yet because they really don't fall into my zone of consciousness but they do have some pretty useful players using them.

    Styling isn't quite to my taste either
