it put out 464hp at the rear wheels on the dyno so thats 346kw so at least 400kw at the flywheel. Most of the power is at the top end with the camshaft so from about 4500rpm it pulls like a train. The rev limiter is set at 6800 rpm

Wow, way out of my league! Very envious. Nearly ready for the 1/4 mile!.
Question time plz.... What finish do you think i should use on the neck? I want a satin finish without using a 2 pak. I dont think a normal clear will be tough enough... Im open to any suggestions.

hey Nitro, tru oil is pretty popular for necks but that will be more of a gloss finish unless you put on 2 or 3 coats it won't be as glossy. Some forumites have had success with miniwax wipe on has a gloss and satin finish

I put my car in for service with it reading 12.1 l/100km and the technician slapped me for not driving it hard enough.

Ok great, im definately steering towards tru oil. How does it wear, do you have to keep reapplying?

Hey Nitro the tru oil dries pretty hard. You can always apply about 5 coats and then maybe scuff sand it to remove a bit of gloss if you are after a satin look. Main thing is give each coat at least 3 days curing. Where do you live ? being winter curing times are much longer.

10 and 15 lt/100km is pretty good. A lumpy cam will blow out that figure much higher
