Mindis - Spalted Maple on the LP is a veneer. Given the contoured body shape of the IB-7, I think you may struggle to get it with a veneer top, and it would need to be a special order. Send an email to adamboyle at pitbullguitars dot com, and he should be able to find out if it's possible - that said, I wouldn't get your hopes up. Generally veneer will need binding to make sure that you don't knock bits off on the exposed edges.
