quality factor or Q factor which basically tells how sharp or how broad the bell shaped
curve of the resonant peak is. The higher the Q factor, the sharper the peak. The lower the Q factor, the broader the peak.
Yes Doc there is a simple way to measure Q, not real accurate but close enough for rock and roll, but i want to go alot further than that.

You can work out inductance mathematically if you measure the current using an AC supply, depending how how accurate your meter is, obviously.
If anybody's interested, I could talk you through the maths. You'll need a basic understanding of trigonometry also.
