I dropped on a Squire strat last week with electrical faults, picked it up for £19, now a while ago i bought a damaged scratch plate for a strat, loaded with twin humbuckers, so with nothing to better to do and a crazy idea in my head i scalloped the fret board and rebuilt it, now i took it along to rehearsal of one of my bands, the guitarist loves his Ibanez ST-55 and his Epiphone SG and is not a strat lover, but he couldn't resist plugging it in for a blast, well he had not altered his settings on his Marshall and threw in the jack and it nearly blew his eardrums out, i have never heard such powerful pickups and neither has he, needless to say he is tempted to buy it off me.
