I need a bit of advice on how to repair a crack that's opening up.
I scored the IB-7 kit in the birthday sale (clicked the button at the right time) and all was good when I inspected it when it arrived. However, when I took it out of its box today there is a crack between the neck pocket and the pup rout opening up, it wasn't there before. It's been kept in it's box inside the house.
What is the best way to get some titebond in there? Trying to push some in from the edges probably won't do much, so I thought if I drilled through from the neck pocket into the pup rout and then pushed glue into the hole and clamped it down might be the go. Will this cause more problems or is there a better way?

As you can see, it's starting to tear the veneer so the sooner it gets repaired the better. I'm not sure what the timber is, my guess is ash, although that probably doesn't make any difference.

Any wisdom will be greatly appreciated.
