Assuming you used Titebond or another "white" type of glue, you can detatch the neck by gently working a hot spatula blade into the join.
This takes some time and patience but you will have that neck off nice and cleanly using this method.

When heating the spatula, dont get it red hot.. Just hot enough for the steel to turn blue.
If the glue smokes you are going in too hot
