no worries Barge, well looks like you got to move the bridge closer to the bottom of the guard, hope there's a workaround or you may need to plug the holes and re-drill the pivot holes closer.
I got some wood lathe chisels, keen to fire up the lathe one day, haven't found a reason yet to cut any round objects yet
I mean, plugging the holes is one thing but then I've still got to make the cavity bigger. Just a massive pain in the ass. How could it be so far out to begin with?
