I've been taking my time and making slow progress,
I found the cavity for the tremolo wasn't in the right spot, but the bridge and neck seemed fine.
Once I routered the cavity to get good alignment I decided to go ahead and make a cavity to relocate the bridge pickup.
Which of course will necessitate a new pick guard
Keda dye and tru oil finish coming.
I'm trying to decide if I want to put in Jaguar style 3 switch plate to control pickups. Some years of bass VI had 3 without the strangle. It would nice to have the control. A humbucker in the bridge might be nice too.
