Hey, so, joined the forum to see some of the kits and what people have done, and also share my upcoming kit (hopefully plural).
Based in Western aus, and currently have 3.5 guitars (tele, acoustic, ibby, and a strat with no electronics after an 18v incident), and no kits. All of which are in tas at my parents, as I moved interstate (haven't brought guitars up, as it was initial a temp move, but looking like I may stay)
Got a custom explorer 7 string coming (big thanks to adam for managing to understand and deal with me despite being sick and asking some dumb questions). Which plans for finish are still up in the air at this stage. Will likely go either a gun metal grey body, or char it and scrape the charring off with a brush for a nice deep brown finish, then oil that (Shou-sugi-ban or something). Will be getting some bareknuck pickups for a pretty rad sound.
I do plan to pick up another guitar before the kit gets here I think. Thinking I might shop for something different in the pitbull lineup. Well, something different to what I've had. Kinda want a les paul.
