I made some feet for the cab after noticing that the hole saw I used to make the input jack plate opening left me with a nice round bit of wood with a hole in the middle, I drilled 3 more in some scrap, sanded them....another trip to the store avoided!

Costing on this. $100 for timber from the shed of green, $10 for black hessian for front, $145 for the speaker. Compared against commercial units that's about 1/2 price considering most of the 3 to $400 units have a no brand or low quality speaker in them

That's pretty cool, so have you taken the new speaker cab for a test run?, if so, how does she sound?, my mate with the big guitar rig at his place just bought himself a Fane speaker recently, and he's right into trying out different speakers to get a specific sound he's after, he rang me earlier this afternoon to say that he's got some parts for his Peavey Triumph amp that he's getting me to do some mods on for him.
