I started out in diy pedals by trawling the internet for lots of schematics/circuit diagrams for well-known and obscure pedals, I learnt a lot in the process too, I actually started-out in diy electronics when I was 13 years old, my dad used to buy copies of the Australian edition of Electronics Today International, I used to love reading them a lot as a kid.
