Well as it's water under the bridge, that side by side is a revelation for me.
I was debating which Pitbull kit to start with and this was one that I was mulling over.
The deal breaker was the pickup placement as I only play with fingers which means no centre pickup. (i.e. strat).
The bridge pickup is way too far forward to my liking and I even had a go at Photoshop to see about a mod.
Wasn't too far away from the original now it seems
Still not to take anything away from your stunning build nitro.
cheers, Mark.

Hi to all. Havnt been on for yonks, no work on my tele yet, will get round to it now winters coming.
A HUGE QUESTION. Im doing a bit of maintainance on my JM 1 and having a problem. The intonation is a little off at the low e string, i think its because i should of set the bridge on a slight angle. Bit late now!
So i could remove the neck, fill the screw holes and replace with it just away from the body, the scratch plate would cover it, but i was wondering if the other option could be if i replace the bridge with one with more adjustments? And have you seem one i could use. Any thoughts out there guys?
Ta in advance.

Are they the same dimensions as a 'normal' TOM bridge? I think I saw someone (Probably Simon) mention that the Nashville style have more adjustment available - how much extra do you need?
EDIT: Just scrolled back through the pics, doesn't look the same as a TOM - have you tried removing the spring on the low E to get it back a bit further?

Doh!! I did exactly the same with my JM-1.
Fortunately for me it became evident whilst still in pre-finish state.
I had to re-dowel and then re-drill.
I'd be interested to see if there is a suitable replacement for these bridges.
cheers, Mark.
What if you removed the saddle and filed down the side closest to the adjustment screw, essentially flattening off the barrel/cylinder?
Tried to mark what I mean in pink here on the high E

On my bridge the bass E was all the way to the back.
The high E was all the way forwards...and I needed it even further forwards.
If you want to try and gain a bit more you could probably file the front of the high E barrel.
That should get you a couple of millimetres.
cheers, Mark.
