Very brave to go with the sanding back, but it's worked very well indeed. Looking great!

Great look for something you didn't expect. Nice shade of blue too.

Latest update - since my last update, I lacquered it and did the wet sanding and buffing. Got a pretty nice finish - some friends on my Facebook thought it was art work on the back and not a reflection.. haha nice compliment! It's not perfect, you can see a couple imperfections on the top and dimples around some parts of the bevels - I didn't use grain filler because I couldn't find any in my city and I didn't want to order it online - I just wanted to get to it! The next build, I'll order some though! But overall I'm so far quite pleased!

Next step is to shield the cavities and put the electronics in! (Still waiting for some plastics to come in though)

MMM that is real pretty Greg, you'd have to be well pleased with that outcome. Fantastic shine you've achieved there! Great Job man!

    Me too.
Stunning scenery in the reflection and wondering what part of the world it was taken?
