Hope you have a long white lab coat handy if going down the mad scientist path. Things could get messy.
Good work will get the Blue Kiwi first,on that have got my other build going so keep eye out for more boot polish adventures

coming along nicely HB, the colour is very similar to Dingotone Bondi Blue. Got to love blue quilted maple looks like you are looking into a swimming pool ! Have you already put the copper shielding in ? I usually do that last before the wiring.
Be worth cleaning up the binding now as well.

Hi guys, haven't posted in a while nothing to report as waiting on the Neck curing and the blue stain to dry out, I haven't done the shielding yet nor binding, reason is I am clumsy and I know as soon as I handle it I will smudge something so waiting till the finish no longer smells then know it will be dry,

I was pretty skeptical when you said "blue boot polish" to stain the body, but that quilted top looks amazing!

I found out about Boot Polish stain from a Wood Working site....Also thinking of using Tea to create Tannin ie Orange...This build was about outside the box...Cheap alternatives etc..Basically a PBG Noob build but on a budget....No upgrades ....Can I build a guitar that I love cheap......Yes I can...So many great builds on this site but no so many basic kit builds with cheap 'Hacks and Tricks'...I wanted this build to be for all the Noobs.. Kidss....Teenagers..... Dads on the cheap etc...

But thanks for the positive comments
