I did discover that if using rag method just on top of the ink it dragged it all over the place whereas when brushed on the coat did not and preserved the ink finish. Only went back to rag finish once brushed on coat had plenty of time to cure. DT is that watery that it can be brushed on as I found out on scrap timber samples when blending colours on the EX-5.

DT goes ok over sign vinyl. I had problems with a lack of patience and putting to much DT on, so had to sand it back a few layers. The vinyl sanded back with with DT and should sit slightly more level with the surrounding surface.

Highly recommend the coil split as you get plenty of useful sounds. Great sounding PUP's for the price and hope you like them. Pity there is stuff all sound clips anywhere to be found for them to help with choosing which ones. At least Tonerider do and that helped me when choosing PUPs for my EX-1.

Exactly like those. Push-pull volume pot ordered as well. I was looking for some wiring diagrams for 2 HB's, vol, tone and switch with coil-split but will probably use the same system I have in my Pacifica where the push-pull just earths the centre tap.

Yeah, I saw that one. I'm going for a single split switch. I considered putting in a phase switch but sometimes there are too many things to play with on a guitar instead of just playing music. Their circuit uses north coil on the neck and south coil on the bridge, mine used north on both and switches both on/off at the same time.
