The Gold Tele is looking great wokkaboy, I might try using gold spray paint in one of my future kit builds, the big green shed (Bunnings) stock gold spray paint, but it's more of a shiny metallic gold rather than a matt gold, they also stock a nice shiny metallic silver too, I may even consider spray painting my future STA1-M Strat kit build a nice shiny gold colour rather than the Metallic Red I was planning on.

I wonder what it'd look like if I spray painted the front of the headstock on the maple neck shiny gold and left the rest of the headstock natural maple?

Are those the stock pickups in the Gold Tele or are they upgrades?

Goldy is finally assembled and making noise

It has taken ages with so many side projects but here is some teaser pics assembled and just had a quick blast on the amp and early run it plays pretty well. Will get some better shots soon and post a video
Big thanks to Pablo for cutting the awesome gold mirror pickguard and control plate

    Looks great Wokka.

I'm planning on painting my Tele gold as well.

Did you use a clear coat over the gold ? If so what type and did you cut and polish ?

    Cheers
