This upgrade part satisfies both form and function and being fully recessed not only looks good but makes it easier to locate the jack socket, particularly if on a dark lit stage.



Great value at $8 plus postage and come in Black, Gold, Nickel, Chrome and Satin finishes. Best to check what thread you need as standard kit jacks are metric thread and Switchcraft upgrades are US thread.

Here it is on 3 of my builds....pity I hadn't discovered these before doing both Explorers as I would have installed Black ones instead of using the traditional plates.

I heartily endorse these as well, Waz, and have retrofitted them to about 10 guitars now; I have about 4 sitting in the toolbox ready to be fitted when I get the urge to rework something!
