Well Guys, I've been banging on about my old Musicman from the "Glory Days" ever since I joined this Forum and, after my recent separation from my wife of 18 years and subsequent sale of my "Little Piece of Tasmania" I decided that it was time for some good to come of it all and it was also time to stop settling for second best.

So, Gentlemen, without further ado, I give you, my Brand New MIA Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 5HH.

Last Thursday Night I got to try out my new Beastie, and it did not disappoint.
However, in an attempt to make sure I wasn't too loud, I turned my Quad Box down and relied mostly on my 2x10 Top Box. Unfortunately it wasn't quite up to the task and developed a bit of fuzz towards the middle of the second set. (it is 20 years old....) So now I'm on the hunt for a replacement. A nice new Lightweight Boogie 2x10 was my first thought, then for a similar price a Mesa Powerhouse 4x10 raised its head.....

"Hmmmm" I thought to myself until I saw that for not much more money I could get a 6x10 and would not need a top box.
Then I thought , " While I'm at it, I might as well get myself a nice shiny new Boogie Subway D800+ to run it".....

Well, since I was forced to sell my house after the breakdown of my marriage and I might even get a little bit of the proceeds, I think I deserve a treat......

New Amp Day is Rapidly approaching.......

    Watch this space.

A shiny New Mesa Boogie Subway D800+ with a Powerhouse 410.

I tried it out at a Jam a couple of nights ago and this thing lives up to its name, well, both of its names, it really Boogies, and what a Powerhouse it is.....

Actually I ordered Subway 210 speaker as well but the Freight Company supposedly had a problem with the con note. I think it is more likely that SCM forgot to send it as they were unable to supply tracking details and would not reply to my emails until I phoned them.
They still haven't supplied tracking details but I expect to see it soon anyway....... I hope.
It sounds totally Awesome as it stands but the Subway will add another dimension and flexibility for smaller venues.

I'm Gigging it Saturday Night with a 400W EV15 under it. Northern Tassie may have a few seismographs going off.
