    hey all

    newbie from Grafton NSW here. looking forward to my first kit, a LP-1S. cant wait for it to turn up.

    Hi FordXD,
    welcome to the forum and a LP-1S is a great kit to build.
    Start a build diary and ask lots of questions, heaps of help on here
    I had a XD Falcon and sadly had a dashboard bbq because of a badly wired stereo haha best thing to do to a Ford hahaha
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Should have got a Holden cuz

    Welcome XD.

    I had an XE, changing the front pads one Saturday arvo I made the mistake of opening the drivers door to change the radio for the footy, the door was nearly 75mm out of alignment such was the flexibility of the chassis.

    As Stan said it was like a Tardis, had no trouble putting a Marshall box plus all the rest of my gear in the boot, just my clothes and the bass on the back seat ( our drummer may or may not have had a Wellington boot in the boot of his XE )

    haha nice one Pest I'll have to agree with you.
    FordXD I was a fan of Dick Johnson and he should have won the 1980 Bathurst race in his Tru Blu XD if some loser didn't throw the huge rock on the track
