Hey there! I'm Roland, hailing from Germany and just ordered a Mark II kit...really excited to build it and of course playing it since I always wanted something Mosrite-ish. I plan on making it purple since my daughter urged me to, haha. We´ll see how that is gonna work out! Cheers!

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! Where does she live and what band is she in? The first band from the Black Forest that comes to mind are the Booze Bombs which feature my ex neighbor on drums, that's how I know them.

I would have thought they have a lot more "Fisch" in the north than in the south. Unless they mean Forelle?

They do! The southern Germans tend to call the northern Germans "Fischköppe" - "Fish heads". Because obviously, here in the north, there is not much going on besides fish. And bad weather. (Yes, Germans have funny prejudices about people from other parts of Germany.)
