got the top coat on this morning, plenty of shimmery goodness... good painting weather here on the beautiful south coast of NSW
I'm a little torn on the headstock as well... maple veneer or glass black?
Hey Mick looking good. You are the one that makes the decision on the headstock. I think both ideas will look good. Is the maple veneer flamed?

Manned up and re-drilled the headstock today... it went well!
As the pluged holes weren't covered by the bushes on the front I went for a maple veneer on the front of the headstock... I was very close to painting it gloss black.
I am disappointed.
I am convinced you could have put more clamps on

nice one Mick looks great, so it's plain maple ? can't see any flaming.
Best drill out your tuner holes carefully and expose the truss rod hole
