    Out. Fricking. Rageous!

OK. The (lost) plot thickens . . .

Pic 1: Neck completed at long last. LED's for "TILT" wired & tested.
Pic 2: Glad to see the back of it
Pic 3: Apron artwork done. Final playfield design/art happening now.

Why did I ever start this?

    Hey Max.
You ask why did you ever start this? Because it's got to be the coolest and weirdest guitar project ever. Don't stop now, I'm loving it!

Max, I am deadly serious, people are going to be talking about this thread for years to come. I actually caught myself thinking about this build at work. Please, do not rush this. Take your time. And finally, I'm sure I speak for everyone following this thread, please update us, with photos, at every step, no matter how trivial.
    Cheers,

    Adam

I think we need to change your handle to Mad Max - not Max Axe... I'm with Adam - I think this will be a guitar that turns up on a range of websites as a crazy cool axe!

I am quite chuffed by all the encouragement and kind words from you guys, especially Adam.
So thanks again, as it really does help keep up the enthusiasm

Ordered the 16 LED chaser unit from the U.S. today, it boasts multi sequences & speed control - should add plenty of pizazz to the lighting setup.

Started boring/routing the "playfield" and below is a pic of a preliminary mock-up.
Looks awfully rough, but (trust me) it will all come out in the wash . . .
