its a candy yellow tint over bare grain just finished 15 coats of clear today going to leave it for a few days to cure then polish it, pic's don't really show the color but had a real nicely matched body would of been a shame to paint it with a solid color. does any one know where to buy pick guard material from? its got a weird size pick guard on it, much smaller than a standard strat, came with a boring white one probably because of the Floyd rose i guess. So going to haft to make one for it.

Once the Strat is finished i got some candy apple red tint which ill do a telecaster the same way if it comes with a decent matched body, also got candy green but not sure what ill do with it yet.

i finally got my self a video camera today so ill be doing some videos of some of my builds and put them on youtube, then guys can see how i do them with gun and rattle cans which makes it easier to show then try explain in a post

just a couple of updates sorry about the picture quality i'm still working out how to set my camera up this one is just a candy yellow pick guard will be changed to something better I didn't want to do the black edge but body had a crack in it and after i fix it i couldn't hide it bit of a bummer but over all its a keeper

heres my latest its a redo of my yellow strat as my cats knocked it over off its stand a put a dent in it, colour is candy yellow tint with candy apple red tint and only done 5 coats of clear tints done with gun and clear is just SCA clear rattle can.Thinking either yellow pearl or red pick guard
