    Cheers Sonic.
I actually look forward to revising the previous work.
My Squier Tele has already undergone several revisions.
The Epiphone and Squier Bronco are also in a state of flux awaiting a refinish.

The Veneer arrives tomorrow so progress will resume shortly.

    cheers, Mark.

Yeah.......this will be finished waaaaaay before mine.
    Nice work so far Mark.
Can't see what BassGuy is doing to his kit, not on fbook, but taking a bit off that lower bout does even the shape up a bit.
Out of curiosity, where did you get your veneer from?

Thanks Grant. After seeing what he did, I had a look at a few pictures of Jazzmasters. Seems like the JM-1 does have a slightly exaggerated offset.
It now sits quite well on the guitar stand if off to one side.
I was in Music Junction day before last and they had a Fender Jazzmaster sitting on a stand in the same position.
Picking it up I got the impression it's going to be a similar weight to mine.

I got the veneer from LuthierSupplies on ebay. Cost me $20 including postage.
I should get at least 3 headstocks worth out of it though.

Hey, love the decal I am going for mine to be named the ~CaseyKat~

Trying to sort the scale length out.
Mine seems to be a coupla mm out on the neck and a considerable amount from 12th to saddle. I am not sure if its simply because the saddle cavity has so much movement in it?
    Cool progress.

    Cheers, Frankie.
Like what you are doing with that resonator guitar....very clever.
However that fancy looking saw would have come in handy around here the last few days.

    cheers, Mark.

I’ve become a fan of the Japanese saws, but they do demand some additional care and attention, not to mention patience.
