FTD 1 @ Tear Drop Kit

Thanks Guys at PG for a very well organised service. Have performed a dry run fit and everything seems to fit ok. Will build kit as is to see how it all sounds. Great finish to body so now will sand to 1200 as I am using Crimsom Guitars Stunning Stains ( I'm in UK not Oz ) with poly finish. Deep blue with black edging is the order of the day

Might suggest not going so hard on sanding before doing any stain.
Very smooth all over after 240 or maybe 320 should still allow surface to soak up some stain colour.
The finer grits can just end up polishing the timber to the point where it repels most of the stain.
You get plenty of opportunity to achieve the ultra smooth finish through doing periodic wet sandings as you apply top coats.
    Cheers, Waz
