    My first build: DIB-1F

    Starting my first build. Wanted a strat-style with an "easy" bridge for setup.

    I'm at the wiring/electronics stage and will probably need to post some questions.

    Also, is it normal for the edges of the frets to be sharp? I live in Colorado where it is really dry, so maybe that is why (I ordered a fret end dressing file from StewMac that should help me accurately file those down without messing up the fretboard)

    It's pretty normal that the kits frets have sharp edges, and also pretty normal that you file and sand them into shape.
