    Hi! James from Perth

    Hi everyone,
having a crack at my first kit build and wanted to do something different so I thought a baritone would be a fun idea.

I'll be trying to keep everything I post here so I don't have a million threads all over the place.

    Perth, WA Australia!

Really new to all this so if there's any other West coast guitar builders flick me a message.
Would be great to have some locals I can chat with, catch up for a beer and work on the guitar with

With a young family I’m a little time poor, but I’d be happy to give my imput. I’ve only got one build complete but two heads are better than one.

thanks Mark, you can follow the process here! Right now I'm struggling to fit the neck into the socket

I too can not fit my guitar neck all the way in yet. I think we got our kits about the same time. I suspect I’ll have to do some selective light sanding of the cavity, but I’d really like a spell of good old warm dry Perth weather before I take that on.

Yeah, I did some sanding on the left and right and managed to get a decent fit.
I'm not too phased by the small gap near the heel.

Check it out here - still a bit high but should be fine once everythings in there I guess?
