    Davey's GR-1SF

Kit just arrived and unboxed it. A first glance looks like everything is there, but I'll have to wait for the mock build to know for sure. I'm a fairly skilled amateur woodworker, and was once a decent acoustic guitarist. Got this kit because I want to start playing jazz and don't have a current woodworking project. Haven't soldered anything since sixth grade, so this will be fun!

    Welcome Davey.

Good to hear you have some woodworking skills, not that much is required with most of these kits.

As for the soldering, ah well, plenty of practice on scrap bits and pieces is a good way to build up your confidence. Not my favourite part of a build but the key is to take your time and have a very hot tip on the iron.

    Cheers, Waz
