My family surprised me with this 5 string bass guitar kit to build, in anticipation of having to take several weeks off work & not being able to do much physical activity over this time. I'm enlisting the help of my son - we can do it together. Should be fun. Finally I hope I can understand how to set up a guitar.

the best thing you can do is start a build diary and take plenty of pictures. If there is something that doesn't make sense, or it seems wrong, post photos and ask questions. There are many here that will help and have experienced the same problems before to assist you.
There is also the how to manual on the Pitbull website which has the collected experience of many of the long term builders in it. Its a very good place to start.
